Meet The Doctors
Dr. Faisal Ashtewi
Dr. Ashtewi is a graduate of University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit Michigan where he has earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Dr. Ashtewi finished a three years residency program at Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts where he earned his (CAGS) as a Prosthodontist, and he got his Master’s Degree in Biomaterial (MSD). Dr. Ashtewi has been a prosthodontist since 2013.
He also works as a clinical instructor at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), school of Dentistry. Dr. Ashtewi also worked as a clinical instructor at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental school for two and half years too before moving to Chicago.
Dr. Ashtewi is a member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration (AO).
Dr. Shahram Raoof
He's a Chicago native, earned his B.S degree in Biology with Honors at the University of Illinois at Chicago before moving to Philadelphia to pursue his dental degree. After earning his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania with Honors in Clinical Dentistry, Dr. Raoof joined Harvard School of Dental Medicine to earn his certificate in the field of Periodontics and Masters of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology.
Dr. Raoof’s extensive training in restorative dentistry at UPenn and his continued work at Harvard in surgical procedures such as dental implants, sinus augmentations, connective tissue surgery and guided tissue/bone regeneration, has granted him the ability to treat patients completely and comprehensively.
Dr. Joseph Akhikar
He graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine with High Honors. Dr. Akhikar completed his post graduate study and residency program in advanced education in general dentistry earning the Best Clinical Performance Award.
He was awarded Diplomat of the American Dental Implant Association, and Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist. Dr. Akhikar is the recipient of several awards and distinctions. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society and many more. He is the recipient of American Top Dentist award 2009, 2010, and 2011.
Dr. Joseph Akhikar has lived and practiced in the Chicago area since 2005.
